Saint Augustine School in Union City celebrated its 125th Day of school of our 125th year. During English class, grades 4 and 5 made 125 adjectives and verbs posters. Grade 6 did adjectives and verbs and used them in 125 sentences.
During science class in their science lab Grade 4 used sand art to recreate a tangible version of the earth's crust. Grade 5 and 6 made candles. “Candles were the source of light decades ago before electricity. Our children modeled this in their candle making. Also Jesus is the ‘Light of the world’ (God Smart) We follow his light daily in being loving to all we meet (like Jesus),” said a spokeswoman.
