Pictured is 44-year-old Scott Duprex, Bayonne resident, who competed in the 2012 Chesapeake Man Endurance Festival, held recently in Cambridge, Md. More than 600 endurance athletes from across the country participated in the festival, which benefited the Make-A-Wish Foundation of the Mid-Atlantic. The endurance competition consisted of four events, including the AquaBike, a 2.4-mile swim and a 112-mile bike. Duprex placed first for the second time in a row with a time of 5 hours, 45 minutes, and 39 seconds, and took home a cash prize of $600.
