Fundraiser planned for people displaced by Hoboken fire

HOBOKEN -- A local business person is planning a fundraiser for those displaced by the fire at 300 Washington St. in Hoboken Sunday night.

The fire began around 7 p.m. burned for more than four hours, although firefighters had it under control by 11 p.m.

Only minor injuries were suffered, but residents were displaced from the building.

The preliminary details are:

On March 2nd, Hoboken will come together and show their support to raise money to immediately help those in need. At the event will be complimentary food, music and raffle prizes. A donation at the door is requested and all entrants will each receive 1 free drink upon entry for showing their support. The event is from 7pm-10pm.
