STATEWIDE -- A tropical storm formed early Saturday far into the Atlantic, and is not expected to become a hurricane. Tropical Storm Florence is also more than a week away from the East Coast, if it maintains its current strength, and even further from Hudson County. However, it is a reminder that the busiest part of hurricane season for New Jersey has begun and lasts through September.
