HUDSON COUNTY -- As another Monday arrives in a summer marked by long heatwaves and occasional thunderstorms, it looks as if we'll be free of the former but not the latter during the coming workweek.

Temperatures are expected to rise into the 80s each day this week, but it is unlikely that they will surpass 90.

Accuweather says there may be thundershowers Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday (or all three days). .69 inches of rain are expected to fall in that time.
