West New York Police Department to celebrate ‘National Night Out Against Crime’

WEST NEW YORK – The West New York Police Department will celebrate ‘National Night Out Against Crime’ on Tuesday, Aug. 7 from 6 to 9 p.m. at 55th Street and Park Avenue with a block party.

Sponsored by department, the town will have their unit motorcycles, all-terrain vehicles, and stealth car on display and visitors can expect a visit from McGruff the Crime Dog. There will be a DJ, food, giveaways, and fun. Mayor Felix Roque and Commissioner of Public Safety Caridad Rodriguez will be in attendance.
