DiBella Construction defeats Logan Towing, 6-3, for second straight Bayonne Cal Ripken Baseball championship.

Logan Towing would jump out to a 1-0 lead in first when Adriel Calicchio laid down a nice bunt and advanced to third on a over throw to first and would score on a single by Justin Perez . It would stay that way until the top of the third when Dibella would rally. Joseph Makowski hit a pop-up that would be run down for a nice catch by Justin Perez. Ryan O'Connor drew a walk and with two outs the top of the order would come to the bat. Nathan Caballero got hit by pitch and then Brayden O'Connor doubled driving in two runs and Brandon Drago would hit another double driving in Brayden making the score 3-1.

Going into the bottom half of the third and Dibella leading 3-1, Logan Towing would make some noise. Adriel Calicchio hit an inside the park home run making the score 3-2 and it would stay that way until the fifth inning when with two outs DiBella would rally again.

Brayden O'Connor started it off when he singled and then Brandon Drago doubled him in. Daniel Brody would then also double and drive in Drago. Gabe O'Donnell would then single to drive in Brody making it 6-2. Logan Towing would try it's best to come back as James Riccio singled stole second and Adriel Calicchio hit a shot to first base where Brandon Drago snatched a sure base hit away and doubled up Riccio at second base. Logan was not done yet. Ethan Pozo would walk and Justin Perez then hit a shot to deep left center field scoring Pozo but a good relay and a great throw from Nathan Caballero to catcher Brayden O'Connor to catch the speedy Perez at the plate for the third out.

Logan would get their lead-off man on in the sixth inning as Angelo Squitierri singled and stole second but that would be it. The amazing 7yr old Jordan Vesey from Dibella Construction who was terrific all year got a come backer and almost doubled off Squitieri then he would strike out the last two batters for the save and the championship.

Daniel Brody got the win, striking out nine, walking one, giving five hits and two runs. Jordan Vesey the save striking out, four walking two, two hits and one run. Brayden O'Connor was 3 for 3 with 2 RBI's. Brandon Drago doubled twice with two RBI's. Daniel Brody doubled with a RBI and Gabe O'Donnell singled with a RBI.

For Logan Towing, Justin Perez had six strike outs, walking two , three hits and three runs. Adriel Calicchio struck out four, walked two, four hits and three runs. Adriel Calicchio singled and Home run with RBI, Justin Perez went 3 for 3 with two RBI'S, Sean Gasiorowski and James Riccio each singled.
