Dear Editor:

The Friends of the Hoboken Library will be collecting gently-used books at the upcoming Hoboken Library Book Fair on Saturday, June 10! The Friends have a longstanding tradition of sponsoring fun-filled used book sales outside of the Library's Park Avenue location during Spring & Fall weekends. Because of the ongoing renovations to the Library's lower level over the last 18 months, our entire supply of donated used books was (in turn) donated to a charitable cause.

We are ready to restock our supply in anticipation of the opening of the Friends' permanent indoor used bookstore, to be located in the Library's newly renovated Lower Level, sometime in early summer. Please consider donating your gently-used books to our new store, which will be open during Library hours, using the honor system. All proceeds from book sales will be donated to the Library for ongoing programs sponsored by the Friends, such as First Saturdays Children's Programs and Museum Passes. All book donations should be brought to the Friends’ tent at the library book fair, June 10, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thank you in advance!

See you at the Fair,

Marilyn Freiser

Friends of the Hoboken Library
