N.J. SPECIAL OLYMPIC BOCCE GAMES

On April 20, 2013 Bayonne’s Bocce Bombers went to the northern regionals in Totowa to compete in the New Jersey Special Olympic’s Bocce Games. The athletes have been practicing diligently at the American Sicilian Club. Pictured with the athletes are Andy Gigante and Michael Carpinelli, both members of the Sicilian Club. The athletes were accompanied by their coaches Fran Tomasso and Rosemarie Yurechko and ably assisted by Tessi Diaz, John Valdora, Tommy Moody and Willie Picas. Third Place: Cheryl Olander and Francis Norton; Maria Bruno and Marc Tonzola. Second Place: Marybeth Yurecko and Charles Cirillo; Dina Tryon and Marchello Ciccone; Virginia Camino and Richmond McCurnin. First Place: Vincent Marinelli and Jimmy Rokicki.
