BAYONNE -- 20,000 people in Bayonne and Jersey City were without power Monday morning. In the morning, PSE&G reported power might not come back until 2:30 p.m. However, most were restored around 11 a.m.

Media reports said that two transformers at PSE&G's Bayonne switching station went out of service around 9:23 a.m.

Be warned that if you had food in your refrigerator and were affected, the appliance might have been off for nearly two hours or more.
