Dear Editor:

Joyce Watterman is running for Council-at-Large with the entire slate of Team Fulop. Watterman is Chaplin for the Hudson County Sheriff Department and a member of the NAACP. She is President and Founder of the Hudson County Chapter of the Women’s Political Caucus.

Along with her husband, Reverend James Watterman, they founded the Continuous Flow Christian Center (CFCC) in Jersey City. Joyce founded a summer youth program through CFCC that establishes an inspirational and educational environment for at risk youth.

As prison minister, Mrs. Watterman volunteered her time for nearly ten years at Clinton State Prison, and twenty years at Rahway State Prison. Talk about a trooper.

Council-at Large Candidate Joyce Watterman worked at the former Jersey City Medical Center for more than a dozen years and is a proud graduate of Dickinson High School. She was born, raised and educated in Jersey City. She is a public servant with Jersey City roots that will make a difference for the better. I look forward to voting for Joyce Watterman and the entire Team Fulop slate on May 14th.
