SECAUCUS AND BEYOND -- Gov. Chris Christie and Commissioner of Education Christopher Cerf will be speaking at the Secaucus High School Wednesday morning at 10:30 a.m. at the Performing Arts Center to make an announcement regarding education reform.
The governor will first meet with a classroom of students to discuss peer mediation and anti-bullying and will then meet with reporters to take questions.
Christie has recently made a number of apperances across the country to discuss his education policies and proposals, including merit pay for teachers, and paying science teachers more than phys. ed. teachers.
Secaucus is part of a special state pilot program to evaluate educators.
