Last month, kids in the Hoboken public school district took home notices saying that if their parents didn't start paying their lunch tab, they'd get only egg sandwiches for lunch.
What was going on, and why egg sandwiches and not, say, tuna?
Apparently, the district amassed nearly a million dollar debt over the years from parents not paying up.
