HOBOKEN -- It's no wonder that the reality show "Parking Wars" has considered filming in Hoboken. In a mile-square city with a big parking crunch, towing and summonsing can provoke some heated activity.

Such was apparently the case this past Tuesday around 7:45 p.m. when a Hoboken Parking Utility Worker called police alleging that a woman spat on him.

According to a police report, the worker said that while he was reading the meters near First Street and Park Avenue, a Union City woman who received a summons came over and "was visibly upset."

The worker told police that he "explained that he could not do anything once the summons is issued and directed her to the local Municipal Court if she would like to contest the summons," according to the police report.

The worker told police that the woman then spat on him. She was arrested for harassment.
