A funeral mass took place March 16 at St. Francis Church, Hoboken, for Bernard Grilletti, 59, a lifelong Hoboken resident. He passed away March 12 in the presence of his family at Englewood Medical Center. Bernard was a sales manager and order supervisor at Stan’s Sporting Goods in Hoboken for more than 25 years. He will be missed by his wife, Francia Sanchez; son, Hoboken Fire Captain Bernard Grilletti and his wife Nicole. A great joy in Bernard’s life was his grandson, Salvatore Grilletti. Also surviving is his sisterinlaw, Piva Sanchez. The son of the late Mary and Alfred Grilletti is survived by a sister, Felicia Tully and her children; Michael Jr. and KellieAnne; a great niece, Alexis Schierloh; uncles, Sebastian, Louis, and Paul Mastropasqua; and a host of aunts, cousins, and friends. He leaves behind his dog, ‘Boken’ who never left his side for some 14 years. Services arranged by the Failla Memorial Home, Hoboken.
