To the Editor:

On April 24, a ceremony was held at Bayonne High School for inductees into the National Honor Society and the Hall of Fame. I can offer only utmost congratulations and the following thoughts:

STUDENTS: Please fully realize how wonderful and special you are. Future success awaits, and won’t it be fine!

PARENTS: From the moment of conception, your sincere dedication and love should never be underestimated, believe me!

JOSEPH E. SIWIE: Thank you (I think!) for leading to the “Facebook” era. But seriously, you are a true computer visionary!

DANIEL J. O’SULLIVAN: Though Michael Jordan’s championships are safe, your heart and perseverance of a champion continue to be unmatched!

ADRIENNE GOODSON: After all these years, I can still recall the words: “There is fair, there is good, there is excellent, and there is Goodson!”

TEACHERS: I am saddened that you’re significant and vital contributions to achievements tend to be overlooked, but continue to believe in students first. It was curious that it was only the inductees, who thanked the teachers, or did I miss something!
