Funeral mass was offered May 10 at St. Francis R.C. Church, Hoboken, for Louis Vanore, 83, of Secaucus. He passed away May 7 at the Veterans Memorial Health Center in Paramus. Born in Hoboken, Louis was a resident there until 1973 when he relocated to Jersey City where he lived until 2009 then moved to Secaucus. An Army Veteran, Mr. Vanore was employed more than 45 years with Maxwell House Coffee in Hoboken. He was a devout parishioner of St. Francis RC Church, a member of St. Francis Holy Name Society, and an usher at St. Francis Parish. Louis will be missed by his wife, Evelyn; his two sons, Joseph and Louis Vanore, and their wives Frances and Elaine; his only daughter, Josephine Kickey and her husband, Robert. Also surviving is his sister, Virginia Brendel; and his grandchildren, Joseph, Michelle, Jennifer, Jaclyn, Matthew, Michael, and Melissa; and seven great grandchildren. Mr. Vanore was predeceased by a brother, Frank Vanora; and a sister, Concetta Pierri. Services arranged by the Failla Memorial Home, Hoboken.
