HOBOKEN – A group of Hoboken High School students will release their self-published book of memoirs, From the Darkness: Frankenstorm and Other Monsters, at a ceremony at the school on Friday morning.

The book, written by the junior class, is a series of memoirs in which various authors recount various conflicts with monsters, “the driving force behind all great literature.”

“Through these confrontations with nature, man, society, or themselves, the authors discover their strength, tenacity, and beauty,” said Christopher Munoz, a social studies teacher at the school.

A public reading of the book will be held at 8:30 a.m. on Friday, at the high school’s auditorium, located at Ninth and Clinton Streets.
