Services were held Wednesday, Sept. 4, at Immaculate Conception Church in Secaucus for Libera Sinisi, 90, who passed away on Friday, Aug. 30 at home in Secaucus. Sinisi was born in North Bergen and went on to become a co-owner of Union Cutting Co., a cutting business she ran with her sister Filomena. She was a dedicated member of the Padre Pio Prayer Group at St. Anne’s Church in Jersey City. She was the wife of John Sinisi, mother to Mary Ann Sinisi Weiner and Nancy Talty, and sister of Gertrude Sarno and late siblings Josephine Agresta, Leonard Ruberto, and Michael Ruberto. She was grandmother to Joseph Talty, John Talty, Peter Weiner, and Leeann Weiner; great-grandmother to Kyla, Joseph, and Giuliana Talty, and lifelong friend to her cat Cookie. Vainieri Funeral Home handled arranagements.
