Dear Editor: April 9 through April 15, 2000 is National Volunteer Week. I would like to take the opportunity to recognize the volunteers and the auxilians of the Bon Secours New Jersey Health System (St. Mary Hospital, Hoboken; St. Francis Hospital, Jersey City, and the Franciscan Home & Rehabilitation Center, Jersey City and F.A.I.T.H. Services). Whether they volunteer on our nursing units, the emergency room, offices, gift shops, thrift shops or fundraising, these dedicated women, men and teens are invaluable to our Bon Secours Family. Anyone interested in joining this family team of dedicated people, please call me at 418-1040 or 418-2040. On behalf of the volunteers, I would like to thank the Bon Secours New Jersey Administration, physicians and staff for their continued support of our program. I would also like to take the opportunity to recognize all those volunteers that work tirelessly in our communities, church parishes, synagogues, boy/girl scouts, after-school programs, mentors, cheerleaders, baseball, basketball, soccer, football coaches, etc. Thank you for all you do to make our world a better place. Dorothy L. DeMauro Corporate Director, Volunteer Services B.S.N.J.H.S.I.
