HOBOKEN -- Several of the towns in Hudson County, including Hoboken, Jersey City, and Secaucus, are hosting events in conjunction with next year's Super Bowl on Feb. 2 in the nearby Meadowlands. There will be extra transportation to the event and lots of merriment. As a result, local hotels are filling up -- and some residents are taking advantage by renting out their homes.

One couple is apparently hoping to get top dollar. A listing found on airbnb.com this week offered a penthouse apartment in southern Hoboken, in their high rise building, for $7,000 per night. If one clicks on "per month," the fee is $207,760.

The ad reads: "7.5 miles from Metlife Stadium. Spacious 1 bedroom pent house apartment with beautiful sunset view. King size bed. HUGE couch can comfortably sleep two. Fully stocked bar...shuttle from [building] to the PATH [train station]. Or ask the doorman to call you a cab."
