Funeral services for Robert “Bob” Jacques, 54, a lifelong resident of Jersey City. He passed away Dec. 31. He graduated from Hudson Catholic H.S. and New Jersey City University with a BS in criminology. Bob belonged to the Screen Actors Guild, had a part in “The Devil’s Own” movie, enjoyed watching movies and had a fantastic memory for movie trivia. Bob was last employed at the Hudson County Division of Social Services as a client representative and also worked for many years at the NJ Sports and Exposition Authority (aka the Meadowlands). Bob was a very enthusiastic Green Bay Packers fan (and part “owner” with one owned share) and when they weren’t playing, avidly followed the NY Yankees. Bob is survived by his sister Linda Lahoda and her husband Stan of Piscataway, and three nephews, Jonathan, Robert, and David, and their wives and four grandnieces and nephews. Services arranged by the McLaughlin Funeral Home, Jersey City.
