A mass of Christian burial was performed Feb. 28 at St. Michael’s Church, Cranford, for Pietro Frediani, 78. He passed away Feb. 23. Born in Coreglia, Antelminelli, Italy, he emigrated to the U.S. in 1962 seeking a better life for his family and moved to North Bergen in 1975. Mr. Frediani was a mold-maker specializing in statues in gypsum, bronze and pewter. He worked for many years at Aquarius Arts in North Bergen while devoting his free time to his family and to gardening and cooking. Surviving are his wife of 52 years, Maria (Roni) Frediani; 2 children, Marco Frediani (Lou Ann), and Paula Rossi; 3 grandchildren, Alyssa, Matthew and Nicholas; and his brother, Luigi. Services arranged by the Dooley Funeral Home, West Cranford.
