Save the date! The Annual Taste of Weehawken returns to the Food Court at Lincoln Harbor on Tuesday April 29. This marks the 14th year for the popular culinary event, which helps raise important funding for the many programs and activities at the Weehawken Free Public Library.

Hundreds of food enthusiasts and library supporters gather at the Taste to savor an evening of food, fun and fundraising.

“The Taste is certainly one of the most anticipated events in the area,” said Leona Nersesian, president, Library Board of Trustees. There’s something for everyone: abundant sips, samples and signature dishes, unique fare from high profile and emerging local restaurants, fine wines and mouthwatering desserts.

“We are of course always grateful to many fine restaurants and business owners who come together over the years at the Taste,” said Nersesian. “They have not only helped make our Weehawken Free Public Library and Media Center among the best in the state, but have also helped us continue to continue our role as a gathering place for our community.”

If you are a restaurateur or other food business owner and would like to participate, call the Library at (201) 863-7823.

Tickets to the Taste will be $60 for the Preview Hour (6:30 to 9:30 p.m.) and $35 for General Admission (7:30 to 9:30 p.m.) and will be available for purchase the end of March. “Like” Taste of Weehawken on Facebook, follow on Twitter @weehawkennj or visit the website at http://www.weehawken-nj.us/library.html for updated information and ticket sales.
