A funeral mass was offered April 16 at St. Francis R.C. Church, Hoboken, for Mildred “Millie” LaBruno, 84, of Hoboken. She passed away at her daughters Hoboken residence surrounded by her family on April 12. Born in Jersey City to the late Joseph and Mary Butler, she was predeceased by her husband Patrick LaBruno, eight siblings, and three sons-in-law. Mildred was a resident of Hoboken for more than 60 years. She worked in sales at various ladies fashion shops intermittently but predominantly was a house wife, mother, and grandmother. Mildred’s family and faith always sustained her. Surviving are four daughters, twins Patricia and Diane LaBruno, Linda Feltz, and Michelle Ipolito, and her husband retired Hoboken firefighter John, her only son Patrick LaBruno, two sisters Joan Butler, and Connie Jacquemot, and a brother Vincent. Her grandchildren Bobby, Kelly, Ann, Eric, Marjorie, Melissa, and John and four wonderful and beautiful great grandchildren will miss her. Services arranged by the Failla Memorial Home, Hoboken.
