Funeral mass was held May 3 at St. Anthony of Padua Church, Jersey City, for Florence (“Faye”) K. Urbanowicz. She passed away April 7. Born in Jersey City to Julia and Anthony Kraszewski, Faye became a resident of the Atrium at Hamilton Park when she was no longer able to live by herself. Faye was predeceased in death by her husband Charles, and brother Walter as well as sisters Pauline and Dorothy. She is survived by her siblings Lillian, Teresa, as well as her son Charles and his wife Sadie and their son Tom and his wife Julia as well as two grandchildren, Elisabeth and Andrew.

Faye worked hard all of her life rising to a management position with the World Casing Corporation in Brooklyn, New York. She also worked for many years at the Secaucus Pharmacy. Faye raised her son Charles for the first eighteen years of his life (until he enlisted in the United States Air Force). When she retired from working some twenty-five years ago, she had an active role in raising Gia Zampella. Faye was very active in St. Anthony of Padua Parish Church activities for several decades organizing outings. She has numerous friends in Jersey City and the immediate area, especially Stella Ciborowski. Faye was truly fond of her goddaughter Barbara Poletta as well as Mr. Arthur Cashin.
