Funeral mass was offered June 25 at St. Francis R.C. Church Hoboken, for Joseph Dimonde, 73, a lifelong Hoboken resident. He passed away June 20 at Hoboken University Medical Center. A retired hotel cafe manager in the Morristown Area for many years, Joe was proud of his seventeen plus years of service for the betterment of the Tenants Associations at the Christopher Columbus Gardens, located at both 8th and 9th street between Jefferson and Adams, where he maintained the title of presidency for all of those years. Surviving are his four daughters Deborah, Karen, and Marie Dimonde, and Arlene Camacho, a son Joseph D’Anna, three sisters Lillian Raccioppi, Phyllis Smith, and Irene Folise, his grandchildren Anthony, Brittany, Tylor, Justin, and three great grandchildren. He was predeceased by an son Anthony Dimonde. Also surviving is a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends and his two former wives Marie Yorio, and Sylvia D’Anna. Services arranged by the Failla Memorial Home, Hoboken.
