Hockey Game to benefit children with cancer

On November 11, come join Hudson Heroes, a NJ Non-Profit organization who will defend the net against Bergen Backdraft, a team from Bergen County, in the 2nd Annual Michal Romano Memorial Cup. The event will take place at 5 p.m. at the Rich Korpi Arena, 667 Avenue A.

Hudson Heroes is a hockey team made up of First Responders from Hudson County. They have chosen Tomorrow’s Children’s Fund to be their charity for which the proceeds of this game will be donated to. TCF provides assistance to children with Cancer and blood disorder and their families during treatment.

The winner of this game will take home The Michael Romano Memorial Cup. The cup is named in memory of Michael Romano, a Bayonne resident who passed away in 2005 at age 11 from Neuroblastoma, a pediatric cancer. Michael was a patient at Tomorrows Children’s Fund.
