We would like to congratulate both teams for a well played final game. Lakers jumped ahead with an 18-point lead. They were a hungrier team at least in the first 10 minutes. They were focused on speed ball and OKC could not stop the Lakers for the first ten minutes. The question was how long they could sustain this pace.

OKC, with their twin towers, relied on a slower pace so they can feed Danny Liming down low. He then created open threes for his teammates. In winning a championship, you have to stick to your game plan and stay focused. The first team who gets distracted will lose. OKC came back with the slow paced game and won the game.

Champion: OKC
2nd Place: Lakers
MVP of the championship game: Danny Liming
Regular season MVP: Kevin Walker
