DECEGLIE, ANTONIA

A funeral mass was offered Dec. 15 at Sts Joseph and Michael Church, Union City, for Antonia DeCeglie, 85, of Union City. She passed away Dec. 11 at her daughter’s home in Carteret. She was born in Malfetta, Italy and lived in Hoboken before moving to Union City 45 years ago. Antonia worked as a seamstress and was a member of the International Ladies Garment Workers Union of West New York. She was the wife of the late Antonio and the mother of Clara Murolo and husband Nicolo, Catherine Bloom and husband Dawson L, Bloom and Vito DeCeglia and wife Stacy. Also surviving are her grandchildren: Lorenzo Murolo, Mariantonia Filippone and husband Nicholas, Sarah Murolo, Dawson Liam Bloom III and Antonio DeCeglia as well as great grandchildren Gabriella, Guliana, Nicholas and Cole.
