81, peacefully passed into eternal life on December 30, 2016. Survived by wife, Claire Marie (nee: Ernst) who was his lifelong friend and partner. Survived by his children: Thomas, Ellen Marie, Catherine and Vincent, Jr.; their spouses: Steven Morgan, George Peck, Jr., MD, Joseph Lee and Nicole DiDomenico (nee: Milano) and grandchildren: Alexandra Lee, Evan Lee, Joseph Lee, Morgan Peck, George Peck 3rd, Claire Peck, Martine DiDomenico, Jacqueline DiDomenico, and Vincent DiDomenico 3rd and Siblings: Florence O’Donnell (nee: DiDomenico) and Maryann Greeves (nee: DiDomenico). Son of G. Thomas DiDomenico, former Mayor of Bayonne, and Louise (nee: Scala) and brother to Anthony. Born and raised in Bayonne, Jimmy graduated from St. Peter’s Preparatory School (Class of ’53), Villanova University (Class of ’57) and received a Juris Doctorate from Fordham University, School of Law (Class of ’60). Jimmy practiced law until the late 1960’s when he founded Domenico Tours, Inc. a travel and motorcoach company. He also served on several business and industry related Boards of Trustees including Commercial Trust Bank and United Jersey Bank. Over the years, Jimmy also served on various charitable boards including Villanova University President’s Council, Bayonne Hospital Board of Trustees, Assumption Church Capital Campaign, and UNICO International.
