105, of Carteret, formally of Bayonne, entered into eternal rest on December 17, 2016 at St. Joseph’s Senior Home & Assisted Living Center in Woodbridge, NJ. Born in Jersey City, Helen had resided in Bayonne before settling in Carteret many years ago. She was employed as a chief operational supervisor for the New York Bell Telephone Company for over 50 years, retiring in 1976. Helen was predeceased by her first husband, Henry Creehowski (in 1961), her second husband, Edward Kelly (1989), her parents, Stanley and Wladyslawa Brzenk (nee: Sawicki); 2 brothers, Frank Czechowski and Stanley Brzenk Jr., 2 sisters, Dorothy and Emily Casale; her niece Madeline Cembor and her 2 nephews, Alfred S. Casale Sr. and his wife Regina, and Joseph Czechowski. Left to cherish her legacy are her 4 nephews, Frank, Richard, Ronald, and Stanley Brzenk, and her 14 grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
