KLIMENTOS, COSTAS

A funeral mass took place Jan. 3 at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, Jersey City, for Costas Klimentos, 87, of Weehawken, formerly of Cyprus. He passed away Dec. 30. Costas was a senior chanter for 26 years at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, Jersey City. Costas enjoyed gardening, playing the accordion and spending time with his grandsons. Costas was the beloved husband of 60 years to Andria Klimentos; father of Michael Klimentos, Xenia Romeo and her husband Richard; grandfather of Constandino and Stefano Romeo. Also survived by many siblings in Cyprus, Athens, Australia and the United States.
