Your neighbors’ resolutions

“My New Year’s resolution is to go basic and try and get up 30 minutes or 45 minutes earlier everyday just so I don’t have to rush in the mornings. I find I do that a lot. People come up with these big resolutions but sometimes you just need to do the small stuff.” – Adam Persak, Hoboken (and his dog Sammy)

“This is hard. I haven’t thought about it yet really. Maybe be more present in the moment? I am a super planner. I think if I’m more present it will help me relax more and not rush my youth away. I sometimes feel like that.” –Jordyn Burns, Hoboken

“I think they are all health-related this year, like lose 20 pounds and eat better and go to the gym. I already belong to a gym but I don’t go as much as I would like. I know all the right foods to eat. It’s just a matter of actually doing so. I think part of it is to get on a regular schedule.” – Peter Sarlo, Hoboken (and his dog Lacey)

The new year is an opportunity to rethink your habits, so residents of our towns (and their dogs) stopped to chat with us last week about their goals for 2017.
