“Smokey,” a lifelong resident of Bayonne, passed away on January 4, 2017. Smokey followed in his father’s footsteps, doing all facets of contracting work for (C & H) Contracting. Smokey was the son of Mary Ann (nee: Newton) and the late Walter A. Cmielewski, Sr. He was the father to Alexis Mercedes and Walter A. Cmielewski, III. He is also survived by his sisters, Dawn Arrigo (Joe) and Melissa Cmielewski; and his companion Maria Rosario. Funeral arrangements by BAYONNE MEMORIAL HOME, 854 Avenue C.
