Maria Bruno, senior Special Olympic participant with Bayonne Recreation Special Keglers, and Chelsea Stirone, our newest member, led their team to victory. Twenty-eight bowlers from the Bayonne Recreation Special Olympic team competed in the Area 1 Bowling meet held at Hudson Lanes on January 7. The results are as follows:
First Place: Marie Bruno, Lori Brett, Jody Czucza, Katilyn Frey, Charles Cirillo, Jesse Onion
Second Pace: Chelsea Stirone, Alexis Galgano, Marybeth Yurecko, Roger Belanger, Marcello Ciccone, Ian Hudacko, Ronaid Onion, Jude Orlando
Third Place: Sierra Battle, Wendy DiDomenico, Cheryl Olander, Francheska Huentalf, Dina Tryon, Ronald Benitez, Richmond McCurnin, Jovanni Torres, Michael Walsh
Fourth Place: Samantha Ciemiecki, Elania Walsh, Marc Anthony Tonzola

The bowlers were accompanied to the meet by their coaches and chaperones: Ronnie Burns, Tessie Diaz, Fran Tomasso, Rose Yurecko, Jillian Bergalowski, Tommy Moody, Chris Burns, Robyn Bolles and Joe Bolles. They would like to thank all the parents, siblings, relatives and friends who came to cheer on and support the bowlers.
