ADAMS, JOHN ATWOOD

97, was escorted from labor to reward by the Master’s Angels on January 20, 2017. Mr. Adams was born to the late Joseph and Mattie Adams on February 18, 1919 in Bayonne. In 1942, Mr. Adams joined the Army, where he became the editor of 2 military publications. Upon discharge from the military, Mr. Adams continued his education and obtained an MS in Education from Fordham University; MSW from the New York School of Social Work (Columbia). Mr. Adams retired as a Senior Supervisor of the New York Probation System after 35 years of service. He leaves to cherish his memory a great-nephew Michael Thompson; Special Friends Janice Jeffery and Juanita Britt; and a host of family and friends. Funeral arrangements by CHARLES A.
