Arlene was born on July 17, 1935. She fell asleep in the arms of the Master on January 22, 2017 with her daughter and her adopted daughter Kim by her side. Arlene was a native of Bayonne; she was the youngest of four children born to the late Leroy and Mae Doe. On June 16, 1957, Arlene married the late Emanuel Dameron and from this union five children were born. Arlene worked for the Clorox Co. in Jersey City, as a Homemaker with the Bayonne Homemakers Association, as a Dietary Aide at Bayonne Hospital Bayonne and Bayonne Head Start Program. Arlene was predeceased by son Kevin, brother Leroy and sister Naomi. Surviving are four children; Karen L. Worrell (Ashby, Jr.), Tyrone, Brian and Wayne Dameron, one sister Gladys Doe, one daughter-in-law, Rhea Hodnett, 9 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; two adopted daughters Kim Hightower and Tenisha Ramey and nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
