Posluszny Sibs, O’Hara ignite Comets win

Using a well balanced attack, the (1-0) Comets got through week one of the JCC of Bayonne Sr Division Indoor Soccer by controlling the action from start to finish. Facing the (0-1) Sonics, the Comets picked up right where they left off by setting the pace. Scoring nearly at will, the Comets sailed out to a 9-0 advantage spearheaded by Damian Posluszny (4 goals, 1 assist), Kyle O’Hara (2 goals, 2 assists), and Sebastian Posluszny (3 goals, 1 assist) while Jacob Kowal, Joyce Gabreal, and Khaled Rasslan each pitched in with assists. Clearly out flanked, the Sonics did all they could to gain some ground as Mariam Rasslan, Kailey Delauter, and Sebastian Echeverry tried their hand at net which led to the Sonics only goal as Drew Radil assisted Jaiden Garcia on a scoring dart. Still well ahead at 9-1, the Comets popped in one more goal as Kasper Hooks battled a pass to Kyle O’Hara who closed out the action with his third goal for a 10-1 Comets victory.
