McLAUGHLIN, JOAN K., RN

a resident of Spotswood, NJ, passed away on February 13, 2017 with her family by her side. Born in Pleasantville, New York, Joan lived in Bayonne for many years before settling in Spotswood for the past 40 years. She retired in April of 2016 as a registered nurse, a career she held for over 50 years. She worked at Western Electric in Kearny, NJ, at AT&T Corp. as a Regional Nurse Mgr. and retired from the Juvenile- Justice Commission Rutgers UMDNJ as a Lead Nurse. Joan was predeceased by her parents Marion Kafarski Kinch and Floyd Kinch. Left to cherish her memory are her son Thomas J. McLaughlin, daughter-in-law Andrea; and her granddaughters Sara and Melissa. In Lieu of flowers, donations to in Joan’s memory would be most appreciated.
