HOBOKEN — The city of Hoboken suffered another water main break early this morning, this one smack dab in the center of town. As of 7 a.m., some really loud news choppers were hovering over town to help greet the later risers.
The city put out a release saying: “Suez Water is responding to repair a broken water main at 5th a Street and a Willow Avenue. Willow Ave is closed south of 6th Street and Clinton Street is closed north of 4th Street. NJ Transit buses are running on Clinton Street however the Willow Avenue route is operating on a detour along Washington Street.
A boil advisory is not in effect.
Updates will be provided as they become available.”
