CANZANO, NICOLAS

A funeral mass was offered March 8 at Immaculate Conception Church, Secaucus, for Nicolas Canzano, 92, formerly of Jersey City. He passed away peacefully at home in Secaucus on March 3. Nicolas served in the Marines during WWII in the Pacific Theater, where he was stationed in the Philippines and Okinawa. Nicolas was predeceased by his wife Catherine and son James. He was the father of Christine Morrissey and Nicholas (Jane) Canzano. He was the grandfather of Natasha Morrissey and fiance Brian Carter of Cranford, Jamie and Lizabeth Canzano of Secaucus, Kristin Canzano Pinyan (Jeff) of Ewing, Michael Canzano and fiance Toni Ann Sinacore of Wood-Ridge and Marc Canzano of Pennsylvania. Nicolas was predeceased by his brothers Dominick and Albert and sisters Antoinette, Concetta, and Mary. He is survived by his brother Samuel and sister Adeline Roche.
