71, passed away on March 2, 2017 at Newark University Hospital surrounded by his family, after a brief and valiant battle with cancer. Born on June 7, 1945 in Brooklyn, NY, he moved with his family as an infant to Bayonne, where he resided for the remainder of his life. Thomas was employed by The Gordon Terminals in Bayonne for 40 years, retiring 9 years ago. Thomas was predeceased by his parents Else and Ernst Poesl and surviving him are his children Thomas Jr., Jason, Kelly and Brenda Poesl; his grandchildren Madison, Skyler & Mason Condon and Emily Poesl. Also surviving Thomas are his sister Joyce Lubach, his brothers David and Walter Poesl. Also Ernie and Kenny Poesl as well as many nieces, nephews, in-laws, cousins, friends and his ex-wife Nancy, who never left his side.
