Residents evacuated in early morning Hoboken fire

HOBOKEN– An early morning blaze near 64 Monroe St. in Hoboken on Good Friday is currently under investigation.
According to the city, all residents were evacuated safely after a fire broke out in one of the apartment buildings around 5:45 a.m. on April 14. The Hoboken Fire Department was on the scene of the three-alarm blaze, and Monroe Street was closed from First Street to Observer Highway. Observer Highway also was closed from Madison Street to Monroe Street.
