AQUINO, MARIA

A funeral mass was offered April 10 at St. Anthony Church, Union City, for Maria Aquino, 87, of Union City. She passed away April 5, at Holy Name Hospital, Teaneck. Born in Avellino, Italy, to the late Fortunato and Giuseppina Iannaccone, Maria worked as a seamstress before moving to the United States in 1958. She has lived in Union City for 60 years where she raised her family. She was the wife of the late Pasquale. Survivors include her children, Geraldine Aquino, Patrizia Cortazzo and her late husband John Mark, Leonello Aquino, Milena Aquino as well as her grandchildren, Gianna and Anthony Cortazzo.
