To the Editor:
As a resident of Bayonne, I would like to commend the parade committee on a beautiful Saint Patrick’s Day parade. The turnout was great. It would be so nice if all of you would also come out and support our veterans on Memorial Day. Freedom has a cost. Unfortunately, that cost is the loss of a life. It does not matter how you came to America, whether you were born here or your family migrated here, your freedom was paid for by the men and women who gave their all. So please come out and support our veterans and the families of those who have sacrificed so much and those serving in the military, at home, and around the world so that we have our freedom. God bless you all. Hope to see you on parade day.
