76, a lifelong resident of Bayonne, passed away on April 21, 2017. Joan was a crossing guard supervisor for the City of Bayonne for over 20 years, prior to retiring in 2006. Joan was predeceased in 2003 by her husband, Francis Hennings; her parents, Walter & Antoinette (nee: Szybisty) Funk; a sister Dolores Breymer and a brother Frank Funk. Joan is survived by her son, Kevin Hennings; brothers Bobby Funk and John Funk; and grandchildren, Amanda Hennings and Nicholas Hennings.
