To the Editor:
I had the pleasure of attending the Kenny Kopacz, Freeholder’s Get Together at the Chandelier Restaurant on April 13. I want to share with you the lovely evening that it was. First and foremost, so many people came in support of Mr. Kopacz. However that is no surprise to me, for I worked with Mr. Kopacz many years ago when he was a teacher at Henry Harris School. I saw what a wonderful teacher he was but also what a fine young man with a love for his students, and he worked diligently. His character as a kind, smart young man was noted by many. As the years passed, his hard work and devotion to his work ethic was validated. Now he has become Bayonne’s Assistant Superintendent of Schools, a title well deserved for his hard and devoted work. When I walked into the gathering for Mr. Kopacz, I was introduced to his Mom and Dad and realized that this is where Kenny got all his virtues, and his good looks as well. Kenny has such a loving and beautiful family. The evening was filled with many good friends, hugging it out, and there was a sense of unity and joy in the room. Everyone was having a lovely time, and the food was awesome as well. People were so happy to be there to honor Kenny Kopacz, and there was a lot of love in that room and support for such a deserving young man as Mr. Kopacz. There was such validation seeing so many people come out for him. Besides being a wonderful family man, he cares for us, the citizens of Bayonne. Kenny, thank you for being my good friend, but thank you as well, for your love of all the people in our Bayonne. Every role you have as a kind, hardworking man, and family man makes you stand out from the rest. I’m so happy that you now can share all your virtues with our town. God bless you and your beautiful family. I want you to know I will always vote for you, and will always consider it an honor.
