I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the people who made the Midtown Community School “Shake Raffle and Roll” Card Party a huge success! Our Parent Teacher Organization Executive Board members worked tirelessly all year to plan this wonderful extravaganza. President: Mariam Nessim, Executive Vice President: Jessica Becker, Vice President: Karen Burr, Hospitality: Kathy Bourinaris, Recording Secretary: Maya Mejia, Treasurer: Maria Biscaldi, Teacher Liaisons: Maria Kilroy and Susan Barbieri.
Special thanks to the committee chairpersons Jes Becker and Karen Burr for taking on this awesome responsibility. Much gratitude to all of the MCS Teachers, Teacher Assistants and Parents who helped before, during and after the event. A special thank you to teachers Maria Kilroy and Sue Barbieri for going way above and beyond the call of duty for this special PTO fundraiser. Many thanks to teacher, Maria Biscaldi for being there whenever and wherever needed throughout the entire process. A special “shout out” is warranted for Richie Schaefer and our wonderful custodial staff, who always go the extra mile for us with a smile! Thank you also to Kathy Bourinaris for the adorable 50s centerpieces. The decorations were absolutely beautiful!
A special acknowledgement to the Chandelier Restaurant for its assistance and patience. Thank you to all of the terrific vendors for their gracious contributions and to all who attended this sold- out event. Everyone’s generosity, time, sacrifices, and efforts are greatly appreciated! Thank you so very much for your kindness and supporting our school! You’re the best!
