A mass of Christian burial took place April 18 at the Madonna Church on the Hill in Fort Lee for Frances J. Albanese, 92, of West New York. She died peacefully on Palm Sunday, April 9, in Rockleigh. She was born to Josephine and Clemente Albanese. Until 2011 Frances lived her entire life in West New York, where at age 76 she retired from the embroidery industry. Frances, a deeply religious person, was a faithful parishioner of Our Lady of Libera Church and member of the Rosary Society. Those left to cherish her memory are her sister Anna Rosamilia, brother and sister-in-law Dominick and Rosemary Albanese, and sister-in-law Virginia Albanese; her nieces and their spouses, Geraldine and Edward Kassab, Diana and Peter Esteban, Celeste and Stephen Goldman, and Teresa Coppola; many other nieces, nephews, grandnieces and nephews, great-grandnieces and nephews and caring family members and friends. She was predeceased by her parents, siblings and their spouses: Theresa and Herbert Coppola; Marion and Salvatore Stisi; Frank Albanese; Carmine and Barbara Albanese; and Frank Rosamilia.
